Danish folk big band to take traditional music on tour in Europe!

By Morten Alfred Høirup |

During the next few month the folk big band, Habadekuk, is going to visit a number of European venues and festivals, to play their own very lively version of traditional Danish music for quite a number of people.

The band, that has won several Danish Music Awards (Danish “Grammy”) during the years, is right now working on their third album.

While doing so, they find time to visit The Knockengorroch World Ceilidh in Scotland on the 28th of May, Buxton Opera House in England on the 29th of May, and Night of Culture Night in Lublin, Poland on the 4th of June.

On the 5th of August, the band will perform their crazy polka party music at Dranouter Festival in Belgium, and then it is back to the studio to finish the new album, an album that might very well get nominated for a Danish Music Award in 2017.

In November the band will be performing in England, on a tour booked by Adastra Booking Agency.
